This pie combines tart, crips local apples with lots of fresh ginger and lemon, in an all-butter crust and topped with a spiced crumble. Warm yourself up from the inside with this zippy version of a classic!
The darkest maple syrup from Andes’ own Darview farm baked into a rich, sweet, chess-style custard with local eggs and cream and a pinch of cornmeal in a crisp all-butter crust, and finished with flaky salt. A Delaware County favorite!
This hearty pie is filled to the brim with a blend of of local grass-fed ground lamb from our friends at Platner Brook Farm just up the road, plus some carrots, peas, and lots of herbs. It comes topped with a big swirl of extra creamy mashed potatoes and is snuggled into an all-butter crust (because you can’t call it a pie unless it’s got that flaky crunch)! Serves 4 for dinner.
Succulent local chicken is braised with celery, carrots, onions, garlic, cremini mushrooms, smoked bacon, and thyme to form the hearty filling which is wrapped up in a flaky butter crust. Nourishing, cozy, and easy-peasy—just pop it in the oven to warm and dinner is DONE! Serves 4.
