Blueberries from North Star, strawberries from Samascott Orchards, black and red raspberries from Grieg Farm—this pie is basically filled with juicy, exploding local jewels! Infused with a touch of fresh ginger and topped with a spiced brown butter crumble, this pie is the party for our tastebuds we all need before heading back to work and school. (small price increase due to high ingredient costs)
It all starts with a crisp cornflake crust. Then there’s a layer of tart local blueberry compote. Finally, a thick slathering of sweet corn custard—made with freshly picked sweet corn from half a mile down Back River Rd. and lots of local dairy. Tried this lark of a pie out last year, and it was a huge hit! Ahhh August!!
